Triangle E-Sports Championship
Jeremiah Johnson went down in history as the first Triangle Delta E-Sports athlete to compete in an event! While the outcome was not what he had hoped for the competition was exciting and launched TD E-Sports into the industry. The Triangle Literacy Council and Kramden Institute came together with their sponsors to create the Triangle E-Sports Championship, a one day event that included competitions in Fortnite, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. There were also free play stations available for spectators to enjoy in between matches and rounds.
The setting was perfect for Triangle Delta E-Sports to step onto the scene. JerryJohnsWHAT played in the third round of 100 Fortnite competitors on the evening and racked up tournament points, recording two top 10 finishes and several multi-kill games. This tournament would prove to be but a stepping stone for the Fortnite squad and organization but that did not stop the team from striving for the best result possible.
